Ever since i was a child i have been fascinated by nature, by the little things, the magic of the microcosmos. My life has been nomadic, and when asked to describe myself i quite often refer to a river, flowing, overflowing, picking up things along the way, never the same.

Exploring the voice as a tool to create musical textures shifting from vocal layered tones and vivid harmonics to free sound poetry channelling inner and outer streams of imaginary landscapes – toeing the line of where poetry walks into the field of contemporary music.

Exploring ceramics as means to connect to the soil, to earth, to tell stories. Investigating the material as resonance vessel, as instrument, as tool for sound.

It has been an important part of my practice thus far to engage and collaborate with the ‘other then human’. Projects like Petrichor, weave sounds of plants, the interaction with wind and stone into an interdisciplinary piece. Currently I’m working on M[other]land where i try to alchemise my complex family history through the means of driftwood collected on the west coast of Iceland and clay found in my new hometown of Isokyrö Finland. As well as on SPELL/LIGHT where I reflect on the hours of light versus dark in correlation with our mental state.

My small ceramic studio also regularly produces functional ware that you can find on etsy
